Another Lovely Layout

Here's another layout I've been playing with. I used my Circle framelits to cut the Designer Series Paper. The new Holiday catalog has a fun new acorn punch and coordinating stamp set. Since I don't have that (yet). I used my retired Autumn Accents die and Big Shot to cut out these acorns. Then i used my stylus and added some dimension to them freehand (see the bottom photo).

Lovely Layout

This is a lovely layout and great for using up some Designer Series Paper scraps. As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I get to see previews of the catalogs before the sales begin. The new holiday catalog has some beautiful DSP in it! I especially like the new one for fall but had a little bit left from last year's fall pattern. So, I told myself I can't order the new until the old is gone.
So, I grabbed my 1-inch square punch and used up quite a bit making these two cards. The little squares are layered on 3-1/4" cardstack squre and that is layered on a 3-1/2" square.

Scraps!

Last week I made Banner Thanksgiving cards that used the Oval framelits and Autumn Accents Die. So I had scraps of ovals and acorns and leaves on my table and challenged myself to use them to design some Thanksgiving cards. The expression I used is from a retired set but could easily substitute the Thanksgiving expressions from this year's  Merry Everything or Mingle All the Way stamp sets.

A Banner Thanksgiving

This cute banner idea is a case from Dawn Olchefske. You use the Oval framelits to make the banner. It sounds more complicated than it is! The leaves were cut using the Autumn Accents Die Cut. I love the metallic buttons from the holiday catalog. So pretty! Sadly I have used all but one 6x12 piece and a few little scraps of my color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper.
