Olive You

Another sketch from Card Sketches for Paper Crafters. The stamp is another from the retired Best of Love set. I'm going to send this card to a great niece who is really into jokes and play on words.

More Inspiration from Card Sketches for Paper Crafters

This card used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set with the retired Best of Love stamp set and a heart punch. Any expression could be used; Thank You, Happy Birthday, Get Well. It's such an easy card but so pleasing to the eye. I used Sahara Sand, Basic Black, Whisper White and Real Red for my colors.

Love Using the DSP Scraps

Here's another Designer Series Paper scraps card from the same pack as yesterday's card. I dug around in my retired accessories and came up with this card. Each of the DSP panels was a separate scrap of paper. I like simple expressions for anniversary cards. So, love on the front and just "happy anniversary" inside meets my needs.

Some More Love

I have several Designer Series Packs that have just a few scraps of paper left. I challenged myself to empty at least one of these packs. So, here's the first card I made trying to use of the scraps. I adhered the DSP banners first and had them staggered at the top, too. I just didn't like it that way, So, added the blue card stock band and ribbon and moved the heart and "love" to the top rather than the middle of the card as I had envisioned it.

Banner Love

This card layout is CASE from Mary Fish's blog. I liked the way she turned one of the banners on its' side.

Still CASEing the Magazine

As you can see the May/June '15 issue of Stampin' Success really inspired me. These two cards use the same layout but totally different elements for totally different looks. The top card uses the Ornate Topper punch to give the white card stock a fancy edge. In the lower photo I cut the Pacific Point card stock using my retired Two Tags die with my Big Shot.

Love Washi Tape

Another card CASE from the May/June '15 Stampin' Success. It was so quick and easy to make the background with Washi Tape. I used the "kiss" technique to make the pattern heart. Stamp on a solid image with the color of ink of your choice (I used Whisper White) and then press that wet stamp onto a dry patterned stamp. Then stamp onto your card stock. The smaller heart is just a piece of card stock punched and then covered with one of the epoxy heart stickers.
