Easter Treats

I found this Cadbury Egg holder on Mary Fish's blog. She has a great video showing how to make the holder. Then I just looked closely at her photos to CASE her decorating. The bunny is made using the small oval punch and 3/4" circle punch for the body. For the ears I used the small petal from the Blossom Builder Punch. The tail is the little flower from the Itty Bitty Punch pack. I have so much of the retired Chevron ribbon; what fun to use some of it on these cute little treat holders. The expression is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set. I used my Hexagon punch to make the banner. The top of the holder is punched with the Scallop Tag Topper punch. So a lot of punching for this project.

Party Penquin

CASE of Australian stamper Tenealle Williams. This card was fun to make but I'll admit there were lots of steps to put it all together. The penguin alone has 10 pieces to adhere. But it sure is cute!

Banner Cut Out

I saw a card where the banner was cut out along the edge and expression was stamped above that cut out. I changed it up a bit. This was a quick and easy card using my Big Shot, Banner Framelits and Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper.
Here's another card using one of the foil sheets from the Birthday Bash DSP. I used the Small Oval punch and the feet from the Owl Builder Punch to make the balloons.

Brew Up Some Fun!

Another card using Confetti Celebration Designer Series Paper (133692) and the Tee-Hee-Hee stamp set (photopolymer 133125). Other supplies:  Tangelo Twist 3/8" Stitched Ribbon (133669), Bitty Banners framelits (129267), Small Oval punch (120908), Fringe Scissors (133325), Momento black ink pad (132708), Mossy Meadow and Whisper White card stock and Dimensionals (104430).
This card is a case from Debbie Henderson. When I saw how she used the Homemade Holiday framelits  (135857) and Holiday Home stamp set (135095 photopolymer) I just had to give it a try. (The Holiday Home + Homemade Holiday bundle saves you 15%, 137631.) And once I finished it I was so pleased I had to add it to this week's blog cards. The background is sponged (Sponges 101610) using Garden Green, Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango ink pads. I used a circle cut out of a sticky note to use as a mask for the moon when sponging the Tangerine Tango ink. I used Blendabilities in Smoky Slate (131005), Cherry Cobbler (130995) and Calypso Coral (130996) Assortments to color the inked house. Don't forget you need the Momento ink pad (132708) to use with the Blendabilities. The sentiment on this card is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (127802 c, 128748 w). I used the Word Window punch (119857) for the sentiment. A little linen thread (104199) wrapped around the card and Basic Black, Whisper White and Tangerine Tango finish out the supply list. This card makes me want to do some more sponged background cards.  Maybe next week!
