Sprinkled Stars

This is the card that originally caught my eye on Pinterest. I love the colors and the exploding stars. The colors are Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie.

Another Layout with Sprinkled Flowers

I used Melon Mambo and Sweet Sugarplum on this card and thought it looked just okay. It was missing something. So, on the next card I also added Peekaboo Peach. Wow! What a difference that third color makes!

More Sprinkled Flowers

Since I liked the flowers flowing in the Vertical position I stamped them on this card closer to the edge. The colors are Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum and Melon Mambo. I was also using some long retired ribbon on this set of cards, trying to make room for some of the new ribbon in the current catalog. The expression comes from another retired stamp set, Sincere Salutations... still one of my favorites.

From Waves to Vines and Streamers

This first card uses the Swirly Scribbles thinlit used in yesterday's cards to make a vine. The flowers and leaves are stamped using the Swirly Bird stamp set and also diecut with the Swirly Scribbles thinlits.

And in this second card the same "waves" thinlit used to make streamers on this celebration card. The balloln and stamps for it are from the Balloon Celebration stamp set. I used some of the new metallic shapes. The edge of the cut is fussy cut and the expression was stamped using the Vertical Greetings stamp.

Sympathy Cards

Here are two cards using the Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper, My use certainly doesn't go along with the name of this DSP, but I was in need of some more masculine looking sympathy cards. The top card was my first attempt. It uses a couple of retired stamp sets and the new White Jute Ribbon. I like it but still wasn't quite as masculine as I wanted. So I used a different patter of the paper in the card below and paired it with the retired Herringbone embossing folder. Both cards use the white embossing powder. I have finally put the powder away!

Crocheted Flower

I've used lots of retired product on this card but the layout could be used with scallop punches or any number of framelits as substitutes. The Designer Series paper in the background gives you a nice layer to work on.
