Heat Emboss with a Flourish

I used that same Flourish from Flourishing Phrases to make this card, stamping with VersaMark ink, heat embossing with white embossing powder. Then I used a sponge and Flirty Flamingo at the base of the card and Peek-a-boo Peach above that to give some color to the background and pop the embossed image. Then stamped some flowers and leaves from the same stamp set and fussy cut them and adhered them along with a small die cut flower from Flourish Thinlit dies to the corner of the card. Then added a small banner with my sentiment.

Swirly Bundle

This week I'm creating with the Swirly Bundle in the new catalog. The first photo show a card make using the small swirly stamp from the Swirly Bird stamp set. The flower stamp, you can barely see the white flower outline in the photo. There is a thinlit in the Swirly Scribble thinlits that matches the stamp (although it does take a little turning to get the correct orientation).
In this photo I used the scribbles from the Swirly Scribbles thinlits dies. Added some candy dots
and a banner stamped with an expression from a past Paper Pumpkin kit and
punched with the triple banner punch.

For the last card today I did a color wash on watercolor paper using ink pads and aqua painters. The scribbles from the thinlits were cut with daffodil cardstock and then sponged with pumpkin pie ink.  Ohter colors used on the card are Melon Mambo and Wild Wasabi. The expression comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

Cute Little Fold

I saw a very similar card on Pinterest.  Stampin' Up's! Designer Series Paper is two-sided and makes this card so easy to make. The stamp sets used are Field of Flowers and Teeny Tiny Wishes. Field of Flowers has become my favorite set from this year's Sale-A-Bration. If you want it you have to hurry... Sale-A-Bration 2016 ends tomorrow!

Another Moon Lake Image

For this card I used the same technique with the stamps from Work of Art and a second image from Moon Lake.  Thank you comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

TBT with Sock Monkey and Lucky Limeade

For this week's Throw Back Thursday I pulled out the adorable Sock Monkey stamp set, Every Little Bit shamrock stamp and some Lucky Limeade card stock, Designer Series Paper and ribbon. I colored the monkey and shamrock with Blendabilities. The expression comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (another set that will always stay on my shelf).

Simple Sympathy card

This is a little simpler sympathy card. It's easy to create with the Postage Stamp. Word Window and Bitty Butterfly punches. I used a sponge to add some ink to the edges of the punched butterfly so that it wouldn't fade into the background. The expression is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. The DSP is Sweet Taffy pack.

Moved and stamping again!

Our move to Florida went pretty smoothly. And I've got my stamping space set up in the second bedroom. This will work great until guests arrive. And then it will mean sharing the space which is always hard to do. Luckily, the longer guests, my adult children are really good about sharing space.

So, I'm back to using up some scraps and retired Stampin' Up! colors but of course, I have to play with some of my new stamp sets, too!

This card uses the bee from Everly Little Bit set. This is going to be a great stamp set for making little desk calendars for Christmas gifts. Keep watching... I'll post the calendars when I'm done.

I've also used my Big Shot on the first 4 cards. I ran the Brilliant Blue cs through first with the Top Note die, then again using the Square Lattice embossing folder. Love them both, used alone or together they really dress up a project!

Sometimes I just leave some blank space (as on the heart and gumball card fronts) to add a sentiment later. The Teeny Tiny Wishes set and the Word Window punch or Modern Label punch make it easy to add just the right expression.

I have lots more cards from my scraps that I'll post later.
Let me know what you think.
