Vellum Fun

This week I'm going to show some fun cards made using the Sheer Perfection Deisgner Vellum that was an added Sale A Bration Product. If you didn't get the vellum you can still make these cards. You could just use the layouts with designer paper or you could stamp on vellum with Staz On Black ink and make similar cards.
I sure hope the new catalog has some similar printed vellum in it!
These two cards have a sheet of Designer Series Paper layerd behind the vellum to give more pizzazz.

Circles!

This card uses 1-1/4" and 1-3/8" punches to make the circles out of card stock and Sweet Taffy DSP. Glue the circles to the white card stock base and trim off the excess along the edges. Then layer on the Daffodil Delight card stock and add the buttons and the banner. I used the Hexagon punch to make the notch in the banner.

Seeing Stars - Day 5

Two cards today made with the Work of Art stamp set. The top card using one of the brush stroke stamps. Start with your lightest color first and then increase in intensity and you won't have to scrub your stamp between. Add a sentiment. I used Word Play stamp set, then some stars punched from silver glimmer paper and some rhinestones. I wasn't going to use the rhinestones until I had a tiny smudge of ink on the card... so had to think of a way to cover that up. Happy Accident!

The bottom card uses a piece of the Sweet Taffy DSP. That gave me the jumping off point for my colors. The sentiment is from the Pictogram Punches stamp set.  The larger stars were cut using my Stars framelits and the smaller star in the sentiment was punched using the star in the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

More A-B-C's

I've used the Little Letters Thinlits and my Big Shot for today's A-B-C cards. The top card was the idea I had in my head and I liked the way it turned out but I then I had the Marina Mist Blue card stock with "HAPPY" cut out and decided to design a card around it. Which is your favorite?
The DSP on the cards is from the Sweet Taffy pack. "Birthday" sentiment comes from the Celebrate Today stamp set. The tag on the top card is punched using the Ornate Tag Topper Punch.

Simple Sympathy card

This is a little simpler sympathy card. It's easy to create with the Postage Stamp. Word Window and Bitty Butterfly punches. I used a sponge to add some ink to the edges of the punched butterfly so that it wouldn't fade into the background. The expression is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. The DSP is Sweet Taffy pack.
