One Sheet Wonder Inspiration
I saw a Pin a friend had saved about One Sheet Wonder cards. You know, where you take one sheet of Designer Series Paper and cut it up into all sorts of shapes and make cards from that. I liked the layouts on this Pin. But when I investigated further it was from a country that has A4 sized paper. So, using the photos I came up with my own set of cards. I had enough DSP that I was able to make a two or more of some of the layouts.
This was the easiest card. I used the Welcome Words stamp set. My husband sends Welcome cards to all visitors at our churches. So, I try to keep him stocked.

Sprinkled Hearts
And finally the last image in that Sprinkled Expressions stamp set... hearts. The colors here are Rose Red and Melon Mambo. The expression comes from one of the Best Of... stamp sets that Stampin' Up! made available the year they celebrated the company's 25th anniversary.

This is the card that originally caught my eye on Pinterest. I love the colors and the exploding stars. The colors are Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie.

Another Layout with Sprinkled Flowers

More Sprinkled Flowers
Since I liked the flowers flowing in the Vertical position I stamped them on this card closer to the edge. The colors are Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum and Melon Mambo. I was also using some long retired ribbon on this set of cards, trying to make room for some of the new ribbon in the current catalog. The expression comes from another retired stamp set, Sincere Salutations... still one of my favorites.

Throwback Week!
I saw a similar set of cards on Pinterest using this long retired Sprinkled Expressions stamp set. My original idea was that this card would be oriented in the Horizontal position. But after stamping and punching the sentiment and layers I decided to turn it the other way.

Vertical Thank You
I used Wild Wasabi and Flirty Flamingo card stock to make this Thank You card. There are lots of possibilities using the vertical words by themselves or with other stamps in your collection. That's one of the reasons I wanted to get this set as there have been numerous times I wished I had a vertical "Happy Birthday" stamp. Well, now I do!

Vertical Greetings
Here's a fun card using the topiary from Vertical Greetings and add the little bird punched with the Tree Builder punch. I free-hand drew the wing and eye because I wanted my bird to face two different directions. The front of this card is cut 5/8" inch shorter lengthwise so that the Happy Birthday is visible when the card is closed. The colors here are Cucumber Crush, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral. The ribbon is retired, I think it was a Sale-a-Bration item many years ago. At one time I had two rolls of it. I finally broke open the second pack today!

Almost One Layer!
This is a simple card to make using the Vertical Greetings stamp set. I saw a similar card on Pinterest. I used the heavy Whisper White card stock for this card. I colored the stamp with my markers using Cajun Craze, Soft Suede and Always Artichoke. The sentiment was stamped using Basic Black archival ink and then I used the fine tip journaling pen to free hand draw the outline. The heavy linen thread is some left over from a past Paper Pumpkin kit.

Vertical Greetings meets Thoughtful Banners
For this card I stamped the potted topiary with Emerald Envy, Dapper Denim and Sweet Sugarplum. I used the Banner Duet punch after stamping the outline and expression. The Thoughtful Banners set is a photopolymer set and the expressions can be arched to match the banner shape. The thick twine in Emerald Envy is from the July paper pumpkin kit.

For You
A CASE of Mary Fish. I liked the simplicity of this card and the use of the little heart enamel shape. I did switch the colors and expressions from Mary's card. I've used Melon Mambo and Basic Gray instead of Real Red and Basic Black.

Swirly Pinwheels
This card uses the striped triangle to make pinwheels and the splatter stamp from Swirly Bird stamp set. The centers of the pinwheels are candy dots. The expression comes from the a past Paper Pumpkin stamp set. The colors of the pinwheels are Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi, Marina Mist and Dapper Denim, Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Raspberry, Rose Red and Real Red, and Peekaboo Peach and Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight for the splatters.

Nest and Wreath
These cards use another diecut from the Swirly Scribbles thinlits. I've used it to make a nest in the top card the bird and nest are from the Swirly Bird stamp set. The expressions, and word bubble are from a retired stamp set and the cloud is punched using the Tree Builder punch.
Another way to use this thinlit is as a wreath.

From Waves to Vines and Streamers
This first card uses the Swirly Scribbles thinlit used in yesterday's cards to make a vine. The flowers and leaves are stamped using the Swirly Bird stamp set and also diecut with the Swirly Scribbles thinlits.
And in this second card the same "waves" thinlit used to make streamers on this celebration card. The balloln and stamps for it are from the Balloon Celebration stamp set. I used some of the new metallic shapes. The edge of the cut is fussy cut and the expression was stamped using the Vertical Greetings stamp.

At Sea with Swirly Bundle
Today's cards use the stamps from Swirly Bird stamp set that can be combined to create a sailboat. All the stamps except the expression in the top card come from the Swirly Bird stamp set. The boar has to be fussy cut but the pieces are fairly straight cutting and small. The waves in both cards are from the Swirly Scribbles thinlits.
The lower card uses stamps from the Swirly Bird stamp set and die cuts from the Swirly Scribbles thinlits plus the expression and banner image from Thoughtful Banners stamp set and the Banner Duet punch. The colors here are Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim.

Swirly Bundle
This week I'm creating with the Swirly Bundle in the new catalog. The first photo show a card make using the small swirly stamp from the Swirly Bird stamp set. The flower stamp, you can barely see the white flower outline in the photo. There is a thinlit in the Swirly Scribble thinlits that matches the stamp (although it does take a little turning to get the correct orientation).
In this photo I used the scribbles from the Swirly Scribbles thinlits dies. Added some candy dots
and a banner stamped with an expression from a past Paper Pumpkin kit and
punched with the triple banner punch.
For the last card today I did a color wash on watercolor paper using ink pads and aqua painters. The scribbles from the thinlits were cut with daffodil cardstock and then sponged with pumpkin pie ink. Ohter colors used on the card are Melon Mambo and Wild Wasabi. The expression comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.
