Just the Words

Today's Marquee Messages card uses just two of the word stamps. I've used the new In Colors, Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum.

Marquee Messages with Gel Pen

For this card I stamped the marquee on shite card stock and again on Cucumber Crush. Then I cut the arrow out of the Cucumber Crush and popped it up with dimensionals. For added flash I used my white gel pen to color in the bulbs. I really like the way they pop! The rest of the Marquee and words were colored using markers.

Can you spot the A-B-C?

Yes, it's the Daffodil Delight card stock embossed with the Alphabet Press textured embossing folder. I've also used the Word Bubbles framelits, Lucky Stars embossing folder, Just Sayin' stamp set and a strip of the Beach House Washi Tape.

Celebrate Today

Here's a card made using another bundle from the Occasions catalog. In this bundle you get the Celebrate Today stamp set and the Balloon Framelits. The framelits or stamp set alone are great but put then together and a card goes together really quickly! I used some retired DSP to make cut one balloon and the banner. The banner can be used as I did here or also as a decoration on the balloon. I also used the Lucky Stars embossing folder on this card.

Hearts, hearts, hearts

About this time of year we begin to see lots of Valentines on the Pinterest boards. I've found that many of those layouts make great wedding anniversary cards. The DSP is Flowerpot. The hearts were cut using the Hearts framelits and my Big Shot and I also used the Big Shot and Large Polka Dots embossing folder on the banner and the Zig Zag and Lucky Stars embossing folders on two of the hearts. Gift Card Holder

 This is a gift card holder that uses the Top Note Die. You use an 85.X5.5 sheet of cardstock and score it at 3-1/4, 4-1/4 and 5-1/4 along the long edge, fold into a mountain fold and then fun it through the Big Shot with mountain fold edge inside the Top Note so that edge is not cut. Then I used the Word Window punch to make the slot for the gift card in the middle of that mountain fold, gluing the edge opposite the slot together. I uwed the 3/5x5 notecard and envelopes from Stampin Up! to make this card. Since the holder gives you space to write a note and sign your name you can just cut the notecard in half and use one as the base to mount the holder and I used the other half to stamp the lasso, hat, and star. Seeing Stars

I used the new Lucky Stars embossing folder (135817) and Whisper White ink to make the background. I just inked the 'raised' side of the embossing folder with the Whisper White ink pad, placed the Night of Navy card stock in the folder and rolled my brayer (102395) over the top to get even pressure. The Silver Glimmer paper (135314) was cut with the Chalk Talk framelit (129983). The expression comes from the Merry Everything stamp set (135071 c, 135068 w) and punched with the coordinating Note Tag punch (135860). You can save 15% by buying them as a bundle. The ribbon is 1/8" silver ribbon (132137).
The second card uses the Confetti Stars punch (135861) with shimmer paper layered behind it. The Note Tag punch was used again. I stamped the expression using the Silver Metallic Encore stamp pad (132142). The Snowflake embellishments are from the Frosted Sequins (135835). I topped the snowflakes with Sequins (119246) and scattered a few others on the card.

Vellum Ghosts

As promised, today's card has some vellum ghosts popping out of the expressions box. Again I've used the Mingle All the Way (135773 c, 135770 w) and Holiday Home (photopolymer 135095) stamp sets from the Holiday catalog. I'm really enjoying the Holiday Home photopolymer set. It's so easy to line up your images with these photopolymer stamps!
The background of the card was made with a Gold Foil Sheet (132622) embossed with the new Lucky Stars embossing folder (135817) also from the Holiday catalog. This year's Holiday catalog is packed with wonderful products!
The ribbon is some Raven 1/2 lace trim currently available in the Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack. Great price, check it out.
