CelebrateToday!
I got this idea from Pinterest and changed it around a litle bit. I did a free hand cut of the grad hat. The tassel for hat is one of the dies from the Balloon framelits. When I was ready to make the inside of the card I decided the negative space left over from stamping and cutting out the balloon would work perfectly.

Seeing Spots!
This week I'm seeing spots! Today's card uses two stamp sets. Celebrate Today from the Occasions catalog for the Celebrate and the dotted background and Big News for the candle.

More A-B-C's
I've used the Little Letters Thinlits and my Big Shot for today's A-B-C cards. The top card was the idea I had in my head and I liked the way it turned out but I then I had the Marina Mist Blue card stock with "HAPPY" cut out and decided to design a card around it. Which is your favorite?
The DSP on the cards is from the Sweet Taffy pack. "Birthday" sentiment comes from the Celebrate Today stamp set. The tag on the top card is punched using the Ornate Tag Topper Punch.

It's Easy as A-B-C!
This week I decided to concentrate on ways to use alphabet products in my cards.
I got the idea for today's card from my niece. Hopefully she hasn't made them for all the little relatives in the family. I did change my card a little bit, just in case.
Cheerful Critters are the starting point for the card. Then I looked through my stamp sets for the "Happy" (Celebrate Today stamp set) and "Birthday" (Remembering Your Birthday stamp set) words in the size I wanted. Makayla is stamped using the Alphabet Rotary Stamp Set. It's easy as A-B-C to make personalized birthday cards with this rotary stamp!

CASE of Manufactured Card
Have you noticed that card manufacturer's are producing cards that look hand made. I think we have them worried!
Here's a CASE of a card I received recently. The manufactured card had stems that were scripted words. Honestly I like mine better because the purchased card had to be turned on its side to read the script. And it didn't have the embossed vellum like mine does. I colored the Basic Jewel Rhinestones with blendabilities markers and the vellum was colored using a sponge dauber and ink pad of the same color. The stem is actually the balloon string from Celebrate Today stamp set and the flower is from Petite Petals. I used the Petite Petals punch, too.

Celebrate Today
Here's a card made using another bundle from the Occasions catalog. In this bundle you get the Celebrate Today stamp set and the Balloon Framelits. The framelits or stamp set alone are great but put then together and a card goes together really quickly! I used some retired DSP to make cut one balloon and the banner. The banner can be used as I did here or also as a decoration on the balloon. I also used the Lucky Stars embossing folder on this card.
