CelebrateToday!

I got this idea from Pinterest and changed it around a litle bit. I did a free hand cut of the grad hat. The tassel for hat is one of the dies from the Balloon framelits. When I was ready to make the inside of the card I decided the negative space left over from stamping and cutting out the balloon would work perfectly.

Colorful Party Wishes

This card for the class will introduce participants to the Big Shot and Embossing Folders. I'll have the card bases pre-embossed and just demonstrate the process in order to save some time. Then the participants will get to use sponge daubers and fussy cut the cake. They will also learn about stamping off, since I think the cake is too dark using the Crushed Curry directly to paper. The candle is punched using the new Party Punch pack.

Dual Card

I have two people that I send birthday cards to that were born on Valentine's Day. So lately I've been making them dual cards. This is the design for this year. I used some of the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack. Then chose my colors for the stamps and card stocks based on the paper. The little cup cake from the Party Wishes stamp set and punched with the Party Punch pack. Cute little bundle in the Occasions catalog.

More use of Happy Expressions Decorative Masks

Today's card features another of the decorative mask in the Happy Patterns pack. It comes with 4 different masks. The one I used today has polka dots surrounding the word happy. I just sponged the "happy" for this card. I used the new Confetti Textured Embossing Folder. So cute! And the Party Wishes and Party Pack punches for the balloon and "birthday."

Random Patches!

I got this idea from my new Paper Sketches book. It's a great way to use up different sized scraps of Designer Series Paper. You just have to be able to make some random cuts and be free with your placement. Not an easy thing for me. But I like the way it turned out. I used the new Party Wishes and Party Punch Pack on this card. Another great bundle from the Occasions catalog. What a fun bundle! The little cupcake and candle are so cute!
